Information we collect
izWorzi uses item photos, barcode numbers, item details, and user-provided feedback to identify items, provide market research and saved price references, and improve the app experience.
Account information
We collect your name and email to create and manage your account.
Item photos and scans
Photos and scan details you submit are used to identify items, assess condition context, and research relevant market information and price references.
Guest AI scans
A visitor may submit one photo for a complimentary guest scan without creating an account. Guest photos are uploaded to private app storage and made temporarily accessible to the scan-analysis service through a short-lived link. They are never added to the Training Lab, and they are not added to inventory unless you create an account or sign in and choose to save the find. We retain a limited operational record containing a one-way browser identifier, a one-way network identifier when available, status, category, and evidence type to enforce usage limits and monitor reliability. A random, one-way conversion identifier may also record whether the visitor clicked signup, reached registration, created a new account, or signed in to an existing account. So that you can save your find after signing up, the record may also keep a private reference to your guest photo for up to 7 days, and the guest-scan result is carried to your new account in a signed link that stays in your browser. If you choose to save it, a copy of the photo and the result are added to your Collection, the photo reference is removed from the guest record, and the save does not use a scan. The guest record does not contain the full guest-scan result, email address, or account ID. Uploaded image storage may require later platform cleanup.
Saved items
Saved items are private to the user’s account.
Barcode/product lookup data
Barcode numbers may be sent to supported product or book lookup services, such as Google Books, Open Library, or UPCitemdb, to help identify scanned items. When a structured lookup does not provide a reliable match, izWorzi may use its AI research flow and ask you to confirm the result.
Scout and Hunt marketplace data
On eligible plans, izWorzi may use your Collection patterns, interests, and active Hunts to request active marketplace listings from supported providers such as eBay. Weekly live Discovery results are cached for the current Scout week so reopening Scout does not repeat the search. Hunt suggestion details are retained for a shorter display window, with limited recent-check history retained temporarily. Your Scout feedback and hidden-listing choices may be saved to your account to tune future results. Weekly live Discovery can be turned off from Scout.
Trading card pricing data
When you scan a trading card, the card details you confirm (such as game, name, set, number, and condition) may be sent to TCG API to retrieve pricing reference data. izWorzi no longer sends card details to JustTCG. Historical saved records may still contain JustTCG pricing data. Trading card price references vary by condition, printing, grading, demand, and marketplace availability. izWorzi is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Digimon, JustTCG, TCG API, TCGplayer, or other card game or marketplace brands unless officially partnered.
Feedback
Feedback you submit is used to review and improve izWorzi results.
Optional data contribution
Data contribution is optional. Contributed scans may be reviewed to improve izWorzi.
How we use information
Information is used to identify items, research market context, calculate or display price references where supported, improve result quality, and support the app experience.
How users can opt out
Users can opt out of optional data contribution in Settings.
Data retention
We retain account and item data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service.
Exporting your data
From Settings > Privacy & Data, you can export a copy of your saved item data as a JSON file at any time.
Deleting your app data
From Settings > Privacy & Data, you can permanently delete your app data — including saved items, price-reference history, scan usage, feedback, Hunt items, deal checks, Scout discovery records, and related records — while keeping your login profile active. This is immediate and cannot be undone. Note: photos you uploaded may remain in storage after this deletion, as our current systems do not support automatically removing uploaded files.
Billing and payment processing
Stripe processes payment card details for web subscriptions. izWorzi does not store full card numbers or CVC. We store limited billing metadata needed to provide access and support subscription lifecycles, such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, subscription status, billing-cycle dates, scheduled plan changes, and billing event identifiers.
How billing metadata is used
Billing metadata is used for entitlement management, subscription support, fraud and error prevention, and billing lifecycle processing.
Usage, entitlement, and diagnostics
We store scan-event usage records, protected entitlement records, trading-card diagnostic logs, and product-update or upgrade-interest records to operate and support the app.
Deleting your account
From Settings > Privacy & Data, you can request full account deletion. It removes app records and requests manual authentication-profile removal. Uploaded image storage may require manual platform cleanup. If you cannot sign in, use the public request page at /delete-account; ownership is verified before action is taken.
